What is a 'Practitioner'?
A licensed Religious Science Professional Practitioner is a Spiritual Counselor. The Practitioner is trained to help people use the art and skill of affirmative prayer to resolve challenges and situations in their lives.
Many people choose to meet with a Practitioner when faced with a specific challenge. Others work with a Practitioner regularly to grow and deepen in spiritual awareness. A Practitioner session can help you understand your challenge and its possible cause. Sometimes you are too close to a situation to have an objective viewpoint. Working with a Practitioner can help you work through these situations and learn how to sustain results into the future.
All of us at times get caught up in human experiences such as disease of the body; disharmony in our relationships; or discontent with ourselves, our careers, or aspects of our material world. A Practitioner can help you see and understand the human condition, while at the same time, seeing the wholeness in each situation and the perfection in us all.
Through the spiritual practice of affirmative prayer, Practitioners create a sacred space where healing can occur by knowing and revealing a spiritual Truth, which is greater than any physical condition or situation. Miracles take place through affirmative prayer.
Practitioners have study for 2 years to become a licensed Professional Practitioner and serve at the Center for Spiritual Living Eastside.
Practitioners are available for private and confidential sessions. Each Practitioner has an individual fee schedule.
When Do I See a Practitioner?
Many choose to meet with a practitioner when faced with a specific challenge. Others work with a practitioner regularly to grow and deepen in spiritual awareness and individual healing.
The practitioner teaches spiritual principles. As we apply these principles to our daily affairs through prayer and other spiritual practices, our lives change for the better.
All of us at times get caught up in human experiences such as disease of the body; disharmony in our relationships; or discontent with ourselves, our careers, or aspects of our material world. At these times, it is especially helpful to see a practitioner. While understanding the human condition, the practitioner continues to see the wholeness in each situation and the perfection in us.
What Is the Cost?
In private practice, a practitioner, like any other licensed professional, receives a fee for his or her time, training and skill in providing a service. Each has an individual fee schedule. Arrangements are made between the client and the practitioner.
What is Spiritual Mind Treatment?
Spiritual Mind Treatment is a form of Affirmative Prayer which is taught and used in Religious Science. It directly applies the Science of Mind philosophy with demonstrable results. Its five steps are simple to learn and easy to use.
As with all Affirmative Prayer, Spiritual Mind Treatment, is very effective because it moves the person praying to a place in consciousness where there is affirmation, acceptance and gratitude for the good that has already been given.
How Do We Pray?
We do not wish, we know.
We do not dream, we state.
We do not hope, we accept.
We do not ask, we announce.
We do not expect something to happen, we believe that it already has.
Adapted from words of Ernest Holmes, founder Religious Science.
